Monday: Detectives are wanted
The children set off on an exciting adventure through Wolkenburg in search of the mysterious
treasure. With tricky tasks to show them the way, the children were rewarded with a hot meal and a large haul at the end of the
journey.
Tuesday: Wellness with cocktails
After the exciting adventures of the previous day, the children deserved to relax today
. First, we made soap together and then they were able to relax and enjoy themselves with
homemade curd and cucumber masks and cocktails accompanied by calm music.
A great pampering program for girls and boys.
Wednesday: Visit to Kuddeldaddeldu
Today we took the bus to Chemnitz to play, jump and climb at Kuddeldaddeldu.
We had a great time with lots of exercise and good humor.
Thursday: on a treasure hunt in the underground tunnels of Glauchau
The children experienced another highlight in the first week of the vacation in the underground tunnels
of Glauchau. We went on an exciting treasure hunt with puzzles and through narrow, dark
corridors until they found a mineral treasure that each child could take home
with them. Afterwards, we had a snack of chicken nuggets and chips in the restaurant at
"Elf".
Friday: crafting with Ilona
We visited Ilona at Brückencafé Wolkenburg, where she had once again prepared a great craft idea.
The children had lots of fun and creativity making a glass of lights with an autumnal look.
She then treated us to a delicious lunch. Strengthened, we went back to the
after-school care center and off to a well-deserved weekend.
Monday: Bird food in a clay pot
To kick off the second week of the vacation, the children created a clay pot and then filled it
with bird food. Combined with a short hike through the forest, there was no shortage of
creativity and exercise
Tuesday: making music with Boomwhackers
The children accompanied the songs "We will, we will rock you", "Wellerman" and
"Komet" with the Boomwhackers and then played the song "Schneeflöckchen" accompanied by a trumpet
. People sang and danced along. With a lot of good humor and rhythm in our blood,
we ended the day in the garden.
Wednesday: Chemnitz climbing park
It was time for the children to get up high. After arriving at the climbing center by bus
, everyone was familiarized with the equipment and rules. They were then able to climb
the walls on their own and show their courage at daring heights. A
search game in the bouldering hall turned the day into the highlight of the week. On the way back
we visited the "Suspect" youth club where the children could play pool until the
connecting bus arrived.
Thursday: Visit to the Guidohof farm
The motto for the day was: everything to do with potatoes. After a tour of the
farm and some interesting facts about healthy eating, the children then prepared a delicious lunch
together with a member of staff from Guidohof. A
potato print was made as a souvenir of the day to take home with them
Friday; movie day
The vacations are over again so quickly. Before school starts again on Monday,
the children were able to spend another leisurely morning today with the movie "Upstairs" and lots of
treats.
