Our learning workshops

Dear parents and visitors,

Learning with all the senses. That is the aim of our learning workshops.
Our motto is: Learning by doing!
At Kinderland Muldental, we offer children a wide range of opportunities to discover the world through play and exploration. Our learning worlds create a special space for this. These take place on a weekly basis and are met with great enthusiasm by the children.

The learning workshops allow the children to explore and try out new things at their own pace. Our learning workshops take place regularly on a weekly basis and are an integral part of the daily educational routine.

Here is an overview of our 3 learning workshop groups:

  1. Our letter workshop
Letters and language come to life here. The children explore letters, sounds and first characters in a variety of ways. They playfully discover the world of letters. Our aim is to promote the children's linguistic awareness, expand their vocabulary and, of course, develop a love of language.
  2. Our math and experimentation workshop
In the number workshop, the children learn about numbers, quantities and initial mathematical relationships. We use everyday materials and movement games to do this. The children find small mathematical challenges exciting. They count, sort, weigh, measure, compare and learn how interesting and useful mathematics can be.
Our little researchers are challenged with various experiments. With simple experiments, the children experience scientific phenomena and make different assumptions, e.g. What floats and what sinks? How does a magnet work? Our aim is to develop an initial understanding of science. We want to encourage the children's curiosity and the resulting willingness to learn.
  3. Our creative and movement workshop
In our creative workshop, the children can design, paint, craft, glue, cut and build many different things. We offer the children classic everyday materials or materials from nature. The children can express their thoughts and feelings and give free rein to their ideas. Creative activities not only promote fine motor skills. The focus is also on strengthening their own imagination.
Our movement learning workshop takes place in the gym. Here, the children have the opportunity to try out a variety of movement activities. The children can climb, balance, jump, roll and dance. This encourages motor skills, body awareness and coordination in a playful way.

Best regards
